Our Family

has had a great summer.  We've had our moments adjusting to 5 people in the house - one of them being helpless & needing mother-supplied nourishment at all hours - but we've had fun.

Lottie was blessed in our ward on July 1st (Canada Day!!) and my whole family was able to be there.  We had family pictures taken that night - the first ones we've had done in almost 4 years.

We went to the Seiter Family Reunion at Bear Lake at the end of July & had fun as always.  We went to Jenn's condo near Sandpoint, ID the second week in August - after dropping off the shop trailer in Twin Falls to get repaired, it was a 16 hour drive; one way.  We had so much fun paddling around in the lake & just being together.  We got home late on a Friday & on Saturday "helped" Mark's brother and his wife load up the trailer so they could move to Rexburg & go back to school.  We got caught up on laundry and errands that week and found out on Thursday that my Grandpa Drewry had passed away early that morning.  We left Saturday morning for SoAb and came home on Wednesday.  We did A LOT of driving this summer & ALL of the kids SO SO well.

It was so great to spend so much time with our Drewry family this summer.  Even though some of it was for a funeral, we got to see cousins & aunts and uncles that we hardly ever see.  Uncle Bruce got a kid-size bow & arrow that we got to use.  The kids got to go fishing at the lake & Carson got over his fear of water.  The cousins got to play together & I think London got her baby fix for a while helping out so much with Lottie.

School has started and we're settling in to a new kind of normal.  I'm enjoying a little more structure & have a bit of drive lately to get the house organized & put back together after a summer of new baby chaos and fun.

 Worked in the yard a few days ago - first time since...........last year.  Mark planted us a little garden & neither one of us had done anything to it.  Apparently some radish seeds got mixed up with the beets.  This is what a radish grows into when left to its own devices:
